Q. How do I protect my hair whilst sleeping?
A. Never sleep with wet hair and use a silk bonnet for maximum longevity and less friction.
Q. How can I style my extensions safely?
A. Choose heatless styling where possible. If using heat, always apply a heat protectant and use oil on the ends daily.
Q. How do I keep my extensions in the best condition for longer?
A. Stay consistent with maintenance appointments and have a light trim every 3-4 months to prevent split ends.
Q. What hair care routine should I follow?
A. Wash your hair 1-2 times per week using extension-safe products only. Double shampoo the scalp, use a hydrating mask (avoid the roots) and deep condition the ends.
Q. What can I do to protect my hair whilst swimming?
A. Ensure your hair is fully wet with FRESH water before swimming in chlorinated water and salt water. Wash hair thoroughly afterwards. AVOID sunscreen, tanning oils, excessive sweating and excessive sun exposure.
Q. How can I prevent matting?
A. Brush your hair 2-3 times a day, starting from the ends and working your way up, ensuring you're holding the base of the extensions.

Q. Do I need a consultation?
A. If you are purchasing Viola Hair through Hair Extensions by Grace, you must book a consultation at least one week prior to your desired fitting appointment.
Q. Will you do maintenance on another stylist's work?
A. Yes, at Hair Extensions by Grace we offer maintenance on other stylists work. However you must select this service as a "fitting" appointment rather than a "maintenance" appointment. Future maintenance appointments can then be booked as normal.
Q. How should I turn up to my appointment?
A. Please arrive with clean, dry hair that does not require washing. Your hair should be the colour you wish to match your extensions too. If you're planning to colour your hair, please do so before your appointment. Please avoid booking immediately after colouring your hair, as freshly coloured hair may fade and affect the colour match.
Q. How often do I need to get my extension maintenance?
A. I recommend booking maintenance every 7-8 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth and how well you care for your extensions.
Q. Can I reuse the extensions?
A. You can reuse your Viola Hair extensions for up to 12 months with the correct aftercare and regular maintenance.
